Pinellas Special Places

This is a place to find Pinellas Special Places.  If you are resident, or frequent visitor, St. Petersburg Audubon provides information about the birding and habitats that are special to Pinellas.

The Tampa Bay area is home to many special places from Brooker Creek Preserve in northern Pinellas to Ft. De Soto Park at the south part of the county.

For starters, St. Petersburg offers Boyd Hill Nature Preserve, Sawgrass Lake Park, and Weedon Island Preserve.

In Clearwater, Seminole and Largo, visit Sand Key Park, Boca Ciega Millennium Park and John R. Bonner Nature Park.

Traveling to St. Petersburg Beach, catch the Shell Key Ferry to visit Shell Key Preserve.
