8th Annual Black Bear Festival Print

The Florida Black Bear will be the highlight of this Festival beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7, at Cadwell Park, located at 4 Cassady St., Umatilla. Free.

While the primary focus is to educate festival goers about the Florida Black Bear, it is a family-friendly occasion with a complete slate of fun activities, including presentations from authors and environmentalists, children’s activities and guided field trips into the Ocala National Forest to learn more about these furry mammals. The Remnants, Ken Skeens and Leigh Goldsmith will provide live music on the main stage.
