| Are you interested in learning about the natural history and conservation of gopher tortoises? If so, join us for an interpretive hike through the park's uplands led by field biologist and environmental educator George L. Heinrich.
This is an excellent time of year to view spring wildflowers and the diverse wildlife of this endangered ecosystem. With a little luck we may even see bald eagles and other listed species that call the park home.
The hike will begin at the Nature Center and will last approximately two hours. The hike is free with admission and family oriented. Limited to twenty; please call to register.
