| Volunteers are needed at Lake Seminole Park in Pinellas County to help an Eagle Scout candidate complete his community service project. Volunteers will be installing native plants in the water by the observation platform at the park. Participants should be prepared to get muddy and wet, and wade in water 1-2 feet deep. Work will get started at 9 a.m. and finish about noon. Youth under 16 must be accompanied by a parent. All volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, a hat and bring a garden trowel. Everyone who helps out will receive a free native plant. |
