Volunteers will be installing native plants in the water by the observation platform at the park. Participants should be prepared to get muddy and wet, and wade in water 1-2 feet deep. Work will get started at 9 a.m. and finish about noon. Youth under 16 must be accompanied by a parent. All volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, a hat and bring a garden trowel. Everyone who helps out will receive a free native plant.
