Pooches for the Planet Print
Saturday, May 12 2007, 08:30 - 11:30
At Fort DeSoto Park. 2-3 volunteers are needed to help talk to patrons of the Fort DeSoto dog park about the importance of picking up their doggy’s doody to prevent water pollution.

We’ll be staffing a small information tent right outside the dog park to provide information about the environmental impacts of dog poop and hand out free doggy poo bag dispensers, cool magnets and even treats for the pooches. Receive on-the-job training, beverages and snacks! This effort is co-sponsored by the Pinellas County Parks Dept.
