Ecological Research on Florida's Gulf Coast Print

What do a rare lily, a nesting bird and a butterfly have in common? They are all subjects in biological research programs taking place at Brooker Creek Preserve and other natural areas in Pinellas County.

Join Dr. Steven Harper, Research Director for the Environmental Lands Division (ELD), as he discusses the challenges and rewards of ecological research and highlights some of the diverse projects the ELD is addressing. Pre-registration is required. Admission: Free. Recommended for adults – children under 12 may find this presentation challenging.
