Moths - Denizens of the Night Print
Wednesday, June 13 2007, 18:30 - 19:30
Everyone has seen them fluttering around the porch light at night, but can you tell the difference between a moth and a butterfly? Join Don Stillwaugh from Pinellas County Environmental Lands Division to learn this and much more about these fascinating creatures.

Participants will get a chance to meet live moths, look at specimens under a microscope, and see the equipment used by scientists to capture and study these winged denizens of the night. Pre-registration is required. Admission: Free. Recommended for adults – children under 12 may find this program challenging.

Location: Brooker Creek Preserve Environmental Education Cr, 3940 Keystone Rd., Tarpon Springs, FL
Contact: Brooker Creek Preserve Environmental Education Ctr.at (727) 453-6800 to register
