Wild Florida 101: Exotic Invaders Print
Friday, September 07 2007, 18:00 - 20:00
Especially for grownups, this program will introduce participants to the “plant bullies” of Florida. Creeping and twining, these exotic invasive plants thrive in our tropical weather and overtake the state’s native plants. Learn to identify Florida’s “most wanted weeds” and join naturalist Melissa for an exotic plant scavenger hunt. All program participants will take home a colorful I.D. guide, too. Program suitable for individuals age 16 and older.
