| Florida's Last Frontier - Florida's Nature Coast"
Stretching along the
Gulf Coast from the northern Tampa Bay
region to the Wakulla County region, Florida's Nature
Coast is in many ways Florida's final
frontier. This stretch of coast, comprised of rich and productive coastal
marshes and estuaries and fed by some of Florida's wildest rivers, is teeming with
wildlife and is still mostly undeveloped. Just offshore is the Big Bend
Seagrasses Aquatic Preserve which is one of the largest and most pristine
seagrass beds left anywhere in the world. This is a place where the powerful
magic and wonder of nature can still be felt. This is our last, best chance to
get it right in Florida.
Join us at 7pm at the Science Center, 7701 22nd Ave. N., on Feb. 19 to
learn about Florida's Last Frontier, and as a bonus see some fabulous
photos of our recent trip to Belize!
