Hunters, Gatherers, & Cachers! Print
Saturday, December 15 2007, 10:00 - 15:00
A Winter Adventure Geocaching Event – Join us for a day of tricks, treats, and tracking! We’re hosting our first geocache scavenger hunt! Did you know there is “hidden treasure” in many of Manatee County’s conservation lands? These “caches” are special spots that hold a container and something special for the finder. For ONE day only, there will be a variety of NEW caches hidden at Emerson Point Preserve.

View the natural beauty of this coastal preserve as you follow a fun tracking scavenger challenge. Special workshops will be provided for those new to the sport and we’ll have prizes and treats, too! All you’ll need to bring is your portable GPS unit to participate in this fun family event! Great for families, adults, and kids of all ages! But don’t be late for the special date – these caches will disappear forever at 3:00 p.m.! This program is suitable for all ages. Reservations are requested.

Location: 941-748-4501 ext. 4605 or directions and reservations.
