A Shadow and a Song: Save an Endangered Species Print
Sunday, February 10 2008, 02:00 - 03:00
Listen to a poignant presentation by author Mark J. Walters. This is the story of how the Endangered Species Act failed a small songbird: the dusky seaside sparrow. A Shadow and a Song is a beautifully written work, an elegy for a vanished race and a labor of love. This is the first in a series of lectures celebrating a year of science and humanity, leading to Darwin Day 2009. This program is best for adults and suitable for ages 12 and up. Free.
Location: Weedon Island Preserve, 1800 Weedon Dr. NE, St. Petersburg
Contact: 727) 453-6500.
