Fla Scrub Jays & Fla Burrowing Owls Hike Print
Saturday, June 07 2008, 08:00 - 16:00

Join wildlife biologist George L. Heinrich in search of imperiled species for Scrub Jays and Burrowing Owls in Osprey and Cape Coral, Florida

This day trip will provide an opportunity to see two imperiled upland bird species. We will watch Florida scrub jays up close during an easy one-mile morning hike in endangered scrub habitat. Later in the day, we will view Florida burrowing owls outside of their burrows.

These leisurely day trips will provide ample opportunity for wildlife watching and photography.

Registration fee: $75 per natural history tour
