Birding Celery Fields & Ackerman Park Print

Exit 220 off Interstate 75 South. Meet on the south side of parking lot at Cracker Barrel Restaurant by 7:30 a.m., or 6 a.m. if you want to eat breakfast, 45 mins. from St. Pete. This open landscape that is a county-owned flood mitigation area has proven to be one of the birding hotspots. We will be scoping from the gazebo and walking the berm trail system. Waterproof boots or old shoes are recommended. There are no facilities in this area. Leader: Jeanne Dubi.

Bring a bag lunch, water, hat, sunscreen, binoculars, and dress for the weather.
