WHO
ARE WE?
The Florida Native Plant Society was organized in 1980 to promote the
preservation, conservation, and restoration of the native plants
and native plant communities of Florida.
Pinellas Chapter members gather
to hear an entertaining and informative speaker on the first
Wednesday of each month at Moccasin Lake Nature Park, 2750 Park
Trail Lane, Clearwater, FL 33759. Come and you also will enjoy
refreshments, a silent auction of plants, and a quick roundup
of local environmental issues and upcoming events.
The public is welcome at all
meetings and field trips. (See our Calendar for upcoming speakers, directions
and maps.)
Field trips are usually held
the Saturday following the monthly membership meeting. Carpooling
is encouraged. Consult the program calendar for dates, times and
meeting locations, or call the Pinellas FNPS Info Line: (727)
544-7341.
