Help Remove Monofilament Line |

The Ocean Conservancy needs volunteers to launch its new project the "South Skyway Pier Project" to remove entangling marine debris from the pier from the shoreline as well underwater.
They want to:minimize the re-accumulation of monofilament line by:
- Post recycling bins for fishing line.
- Post signs and provide information for Better Fishing Practices.
- Speak one on one with the anglers on the pier.
Project will proceeed in 3 phases.
- Monitoring/Data Collection (July - August)
- Skyway Pier Cleanup (September)
- (III) Pier Walkers (October - ???)
Volunteer hours will vary for each project.
