Florida State Parks Still Need You!

Our voices have been heard, but we still need you! Meetings to hear public feedback about the development of certain state parks, including Honeymoon Island State Park and Hillsborough River State Park, to include golf courses, pickleball courts, and more have been postponed until next year. Sign up at fl.audubon.org/advocate to stay in the loop over the next year.

Navigating Nature

We are working with Boyd Hill Nature Preserve and local libraries to bring back our Navigating Nature programming, led by SPAS Director Laura Melnyczenko.

Food Chains/Food Webs

On September 21st, join St. Pete Audubon to learn about food chains and food webs! We will use a variety of hands-on activities to discover and build food chains and food webs in order to understand the codependency of living organisms. This is a very intensive hands-on lesson and will include a short nature walk at Boyd Hill. Best suited for children grades 3-5. This class will be held from 9:30am - 11:30am Registration is not required, but please arrive at least 15 minutes before the class begins.

Volunteer Opportunities

A Day of Action tabling event: We need volunteers to assist at this tabling event to connect with young conservationists about our chapter and our opportunities to get involved. Contact laura.dimartino@stpeteaudubon.org to sign up!
