Annual Members’ Meeting

Each year, chapter members get together for a special meeting and potluck to learn about the future of our chapter, upcoming programs and field trips, as well as voting on the new Board of Directors. Space is very limited, so please RSVP by September 6th to reserve your spot at the meeting!

Calling All Photographers!

Help us make the 2024 calendar our best one yet! We are looking for photos to make our calendar beautiful for the coming year. Submissions will open September 18th for two weeks.

This year will be a little different. The cover photo (Category: Spoonbill) will be chosen by member votes! Categories from last year will remain the same for each month.

Please watch your emails and our website for the link to submit your photos and a final list of categories.

Navigating Nature is back! Education Chair, Laura DiMartino, has lessons planned for our program at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve starting in September. Know a student that might be interested? Send an email to laura.dimartino@stpeteaudubon.org.

St. Petersburg Audubon Society is continuing its partnership with the Friends of Boyd Hill and Suncoast Sierra Club to encourage the City of St. Petersburg and other entities to stop using anticoagulant rodenticides. Our next step is to work with the city to better educate the public about the dangers of anticoagulant rodenticides and to work with local pesticide businesses to encourage them to adopt "raptor safe" rat control.
