How to participate:
- Find the auction here , on our Facebook page.
- Click on Photos in the navigation bar, and then on album titled SPAS Art Auction. (Items for auction will be viewable on 5/26/18) . Each item up for auction will appear as a separate photo.
- Click on the item you'd like to purchase and enter your bid in the comments.
- Please read the guidelines below for bidding requirements.
St. Petersburg Audubon Society Art Auction Guidelines
The opening bid on each item must be at least the minimum bid listed in the item description.
To place a bid for an item in the St. Petersburg Audubon Society (SPAS) Auction, enter your bid amount in the comment section of the item's description. Each subsequent bid must increase in a minimum increment of $1.00. Bids not adhering to this format will not be considered.
Once the auction is declared closed, the highest bid entered in the comment section shall constitute the winning bid and will be so marked. In the event of a dispute, the SPAS President will act as the final authority.
The winning bidder will be notified via Facebook message.
Payment for items purchased must be made in full via PayPal or personal check. Once payment is received, winners will be contacted via Facebook message to arrange pick-up of their art.
Any item left unpaid for five days will be offered to the next highest bidder and sold.
The images posted may be watermarked. The original art does not contain the SPAS logo watermark.
Unless noted, artwork and photographs are unmatted and unframed.
By bidding in the SPAS Art Auction, each bidder agrees to these auction rules. SPAS reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the Auction. Auction item purchases are final. No returns or exchanges will be issued. All items are “as is”. In the event of a dispute, the SPAS President will act as the final authority.
SPAS provides no guarantees, warranties or servicing of auction items and is not liable for any personal injury or damage to property that may result from the use of the item or service sold.
All profits from the SPAS Art Auction will benefit SPAS' local conservation and education initiatives.
